Dr Quentin Parsons (m) (1983 London) MBBS, MSc, MRCGP, DCH, FP Cert, Diabetes Cert
I have been a GP trainer since 1992. I have an MSc with Merit in General Practice and Primary Care. My clinical interests include education, paediatrics, diabetes and mental health.
Dr Christopher Watts (m) (1998 London) MBBS, BSc (Hons), MRCGP, DRCOG, DGM, DCH, DOccMed, PG Cert in Medical Education
I qualified from University College London Medical School, having been brought up locally. My interests are respiratory (lung disease), men’s health, occupational medicine and postgraduate medical education. I have trained GP’s from the West Middlesex Hospital for several years and I am a Programme Director for the Kingston Hospital GP Vocational Training Scheme. I also work as an assessor for the Richmond Clinical Assessment Service, which triages referrals from GP’s to hospitals. Outside work I am married with two children, I enjoy music, football and golf when time allows.
Dr Amy Boughton (f) (2002 London) MBBS, BSc, MRCGP, DRCOG, DFFP, Dip Derm, PG Cert in Medical Education
I graduated from Royal Free Hospital Medical School and trained in Islington before joining the York Medical Practice in 2007. My clinical areas of interest are dermatology, womens health and healthcare for people with learning disabilities. I am also a GP Trainer and Appraiser and a tutor for the department of dermatology at Cardiff University. I have two young children and spend my free time on our allotment where we battle slugs and try to grow flowers and vegetables.
Dr Paul Elgey (m) (2000 Newcastle) MBBS MRCGP
I qualified from University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2000. I lived and worked in the North East before moving to Twickenham in 2010. I have a special interest in Paediatrics and Palliative Care but enjoy all aspects of primary care. I am currently Medical Lead for Richmond CCG Individual Funding Requests Team and also review referrals for Richmond Clinical Assessment Team. I am a keen runner and enjoy climbing both indoors and out. I have a passion for opera and theatre.
Dr Catriona Humphries (f) (2004 London) MBBS BSc MRCGP DCH DRCOG DFSRH
I qualified as a doctor from Imperial College, London, in 2004 and joined the York Medical Practice as a GP registrar in 2008. After completing my training within the practice I joined as a permanent member of staff. My areas of clinical interest are women’s health and family planning. I have three children.
Dr Victoria White (f) (2000 Bristol) MRCCP DRCOG MBBS BSc (Hons)
I qualified from Imperial College in 2007 having worked in Public Relations before deciding to train to become a doctor. My first degree was in physiology and I graduated from Bristol University in 2000. I joined The York Medical Practice as a registrar in 2011. Having completed my training I have returned to work here. I enjoy all areas of general practice. I have three children who keep me busy on my days off.
Dr Sarah Britton (f) BM MRCGP Currently on Maternity Leave
I qualified from Southampton University in 2011 and completed my Foundation training in the Birmingham area. I then moved to the local area to complete my GP training in Kingston. After completing my training I was lucky enough to go travelling for 8 months in South and Central America, Australia and New Zealand. Upon my return in 2017 I joined York Medical Practice. I enjoy all areas of general practice. Outside work I am a keen runner and love to travel and cook.
Dr Sindhu Pathmabaskaran MRCGP MBBS BSc DRCOG
I qualified from Imperial College London in 2010 and went on to complete my foundation training in South London. Before starting my GP training in 2013 I spent a year travelling which included providing medical aid in rural parts of Nepal for a couple of months. I enjoy all aspects of general practice but particularly enjoy women’s health. I have a passion for music in particular performing and learning Carnatic Vocal. When I’m not working I’m enjoying life with my two young children, husband and puppy!
Dr Christopher Lambert BMBS MRCGP MA
I qualified from University of Nottingham in 2014, and then completed my junior doctor and GP training in Central and North West London. Before studying medicine, I worked in lobbying and public affairs and have degrees in Politics and Philosophy and International Relations. My areas of clinical interest include Palliative Care, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) and Paediatrics; but I enjoy all areas as a generalist. I live locally to the practice with my wife and two young daughters.

I graduated from Newcastle University in MSc Physician Associate studies in 2020. This course involved medical training including a number of placements across the North East, such as GP, A&E, surgery and general medicine. I work as a clinician with the support and supervision of the GPs at the practice. I also have a keen interest in women’s health and family planning. In my spare time I love cooking, painting and exploring London

Senior Nurse & Nurse Prescriber
I trained at Charing Cross Hospital and after qualifying went on to specialise in Gynaecology and Arterial/Venous Surgery. I then moved on to work in these specialities at St Thomas Hospital as a Ward Sister. I have worked in General Practice now for 24 years and my specialist areas are: Family Planning and Sexual Health, Coil and Implant Fitter, Women’s Health, Travel Health, Asthma and COPD. I am also a Nurse prescriber and a Nurse Mentor/Trainer. I work full time and in my spare time enjoy DIY, gardening and cooking.

I have been working in general practice since 1991. I qualified as a Nurse Practitioner in 1994 and a Nurse Prescriber in 2008 and joined the York Medical Practice in 2009. I enjoy all aspects of general practice with particular interest in Diabetes, Respiratory Care, Women’s Health and Family Planning. I provide a nurse led Walk-in Clinic to registered students at St Mary’s University. I enjoy being a mentor to student nurses and other qualified nurses. I have two children and in my spare time enjoy music, theatre and travelling.
Mrs Helen Deade (f) RGN RSCN
I qualified as a Registered Nurse & Registered Sick Children’s Nurse in 1978 at Queen Marys Hospital for Children in Surrey and later in 1980 as a State Certified Midwife having trained at Queen Charlotte’s Hospital in London. For many years I worked as a Ward Sister locally at West Middlesex Hospital in both the Paediatric and Maternity Departments and then briefly in the Private sector before joining the staff here as a Practice Nurse. My specialities are Paediatrics including child Immunisations, Travel Health and Women’s health I have two children and three delightful grandchildren. In my free time I love to travel both abroad and around the UK. I’d love to spend more time doing arts and crafts at home which I also enjoy.

I originally trained as a Nursery Nurse, taking a break to have my children. I came to York Medical Practice in 2012 as a Medical Administrator and then qualified as a Health Care Assistant – a job I really enjoy, so much so that I am now training to become a Nursing Associate. My specialist areas are Smoking Cessation, wound care and phlebotomy. I enjoy reading, gardening and spending time with my 2 lovely daughters when not at work.
