Patient Participation Group
The patient group has a growing number of members. The group consists of a wide variety of ages, skills and experiences but there is always room for more.
What is the Patient Group?
We are a group of patients, GP’s and Practice Staff who get together every other month to examine ways of improving the service offered by the practice. We represent the needs of patients to GP’s and the Practice Management. It also allows the Practice team to seek patients opinions on how the running of the Practice affects them.

How can I get involved?
There are two levels of involvement: The Core Committee and The Interest Group
The Core Committee: Member meets bi-monthly and it’s members will form working groups to manage projects for the benefit of patients.
The Interest Group: Members agree to being contacted via email by the Core Committee up to five times a year to give their opinion. This could be for example, on Practice opening hours, services offered or even the provision of a possible tea bar at the Practice. There will also be the opportunity to raise issues or queries or get more involved if you would like to.
How much times does it take?
Core Committee: we meet for an hour once bi-monthly. This meeting is held at the surgery at lunchtime during the working week. Beyond that, you involvement would depend on what (if any) projects you chose to get involved with.
Interest Group: we would email you up to five times a year with a multi-choice questionnaire to gauge opinions. Questionnaires should take no longer than 10-15 minutes to fill in each time.
If you are happy for us to contact you occasionally by email please click the link below to open the sign-up form and complete all the fields.
Feedback and Questionnaires
With the support of our PG the practice carries out regular surveys and questionnaires which are available for downloading.
