"I attended the York medical practice on a Tuesday evening. Following my appointment I needed to make further appointments. The receptionists were so lovely with me and quickly found appointments that fitted in with my work schedule. Working the late shift is never easy but their kind nature was very much appreciated. As always, Dr Elgey was very professional whilst adding a personal touch. A big thank you!"

The triage system works really well and I have always been able to speak to a doctor extremely quickly and been given the support and care needed. "Friendly reception staff, approachable and professional doctors who always do their very best to help you even if it is a telephone conversation. If no appointments available they always help you find a hub or local GP who can see you. I had minor surgery there all my maternity check ups and regularly request prescriptions on repeat, again all sorted very quickly. Great GP!"

"2 weeks ago I rang for an emergency appointment for my husband. I was listened to by the receptionist, the doctor rang back within 15 minutes, we were at the surgery within the hour for blood tests and a consultation, and soon thereafter at the West Middlesex hospital for an Xray where we only had to wait 10 minutes. NHS at its best."

"I wanted to offer my thanks for such prompt and professional service today.  I had a call back from a Doctor at 8.20am to establish my medical need, an appointment was made for 10.20am with Dr Parsons, as a result I had a blood test at 10.40am. By 11.35am I had received my emailed referral notification/confirmation of a hospital appointment in 10 days time from Lesley Lison. An excellent service and credit to you all."

"Having been a patient at this practice for my entire life - 36 years, I felt compelled to leave a review due to the consistently high standards which exceed all expectations, time and time again.  The receptionists are always so friently and welcoming, the Gps warm and compassionate with an added personal touch whilst remeining professional to the last.  The nurses are all amazing, they make you feel very relaxed and safe in their hands and are excellent with my children.  Whatever the problem it is diagnosed and treatment provided within a short appointment time, such is their extensive medical knowledge and super efficiency.  I could not rate this surgery any higher, having been there through all sorts of illnesses, emergencies, minor and major, they never let you down and you always feel like they truly care about you as an individual as well as a patient.  Truly outstanding!"
