In 2014 the NHS brought in an electronic system whereby you can nominate a pharmacy, which can be close to our practice, your home, your work or wherever you find convenient and we can arrange to send the prescription there electronically for you to collect.
This can be for repeat prescriptions or even if you visit the doctor once and have a prescription. To join this system you will need to follow the steps below.
The steps to nominating a pharmacy
- To see which Pharmacists are available for nomination, follow the link and enter your postcode and the available Pharmacists will be displayed: Click here
- Please read the available information about the Electronic Prescribing Service: Click here
- For the Electronic Prescribing Form's, please click the link to the form relevant to you. Please save the word document to your computer and complete the form.
If you want to return the form via email, please save the form to your desktop, complete it and then send it back to us at: RICCCG.firstname.lastname@example.org Alternatively you can bring/post your completed form to the practice.
You are only required to fill in the nomination form once. You do not need to fill it in every time you request a prescription. Your nominated pharmacy will remain on record until you may want to change these instructions.
